Terms of Use
Last updated October 20, 2026
Welcome to Praise & Worship (Hamd-o-Sana), a free hymnal for Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi congregations. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the hymnal
The site is free to use for personal devotion, congregational worship, rehearsal and study. You may display or print hymns for use in your own church services and gatherings. Please do not copy the hymnal in bulk, republish it on another website or app, or sell its content.
Hymn texts, translations and recordings
Many hymns on this site are in the public domain. Others — including some lyrics, transliterations, translations and recordings — belong to their authors, translators, publishers or other rights holders, who keep all their rights. Your use of those works may also be covered by a licence your church holds. If you are a rights holder and believe a work appears here without permission, see our Copyright & Takedown page.
The site’s design, layout, code and original text are owned by Praise & Worship.
Comments and contributions
When you post a comment or send us lyrics, a recording link or a correction, you confirm that:
- you have the right to share it — it is your own work, it is in the public domain, or you have permission;
- it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and is not unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene or spam.
You keep any rights you have in what you submit. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to publish, display, edit for accuracy and formatting, and keep it on the site, and to credit you by the name you provide. We may review, edit, decline or remove any comment or contribution at any time, for any reason.
Community guidelines
Comments are a place to share how your congregation sings a hymn, its history, or what it means to you. Please be kind and respectful of other traditions and denominations. We remove comments that attack people, promote products, or are off-topic.
Third-party tools and links
Some pages include tools and media provided by other companies, such as GuitarApp’s guitar tools and videos from YouTube or Vimeo, and some pages link to other websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.
Accuracy
We work hard to present lyrics, transliterations, chords and translations faithfully, but mistakes happen. If you spot one, please let us know through the contact form or the Contribute page.
Disclaimers
The site is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind — including that the site will be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors — and we disclaim all implied warranties, such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Praise & Worship and the people who run it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to US $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and it applies from then on. We may also change or discontinue any part of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
